We did the Santa Skate again year - cold but otherwise the weather was perfect ! (and it didn't matter once we were going). The route was similar to last year, the pace was reasonable and the crowds loved us! London is beautiful when lit with Christmas lights and it's a real treat ti be able to skate it! Here are a couple of pictures - thoroughly outnumbered by Cardiff this year. BTW It was snowing as we went past Harrods .... fake of course

Just for fun and as it was the last skate of 2006 we all dressed up (easy when you have a costume!) and skated at TLC to festive music! We also had some festive food and drink (thanks Mike!). A great way to round off the year and even better to be told to turn the music down!! A video is available on the "Videos" page.
Perfect weather (cold) perfect weekend ! Have a look on http://www.SerpentineRoad.com/ and you'll see all the comments say this was the skate of the year and I'm not going to argue! Anyway : Steve, Claire, Alan, Lizzy, Martin, Matt and Grant with Alan, Jacqui and Dave from Cardiff and Myles and Matt (who tagged along ;-) all did this! We expect to see some video and pictures in the future. Meanwhile here are some of my pictures from this fantastic event - more to follow (we're up for next year - especially with rumours of a roller disco at the end!)
